Authorize professional services contracts with three consulting firms to provide engineering services for flood management, erosion control and storm drainage improvements at 13 locations (list attached to the Agenda Information Sheet) – Consor North America, Inc. dba Consor Engineers, in an amount not to exceed $1,208,709.00, HDR Engineering, Inc. dba HDR, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $1,025,668.88, and IEA, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $803,500.93 - Total not to exceed $3,037,878.81 - Financing: Storm Drainage Management Capital Construction Fund ($1,775,636.47) and Flood Protection and Storm Drainage (C) Fund (2024 General Obligation Bond Fund) ($1,262,242.34)

BACKGROUND
The City of Dallas has identified areas across the city requiring flood management, erosion control and storm drainage improvements to address flooding, channel erosion and strengthen infrastructure due to structural deterioration. These areas were identified to have inadequate infrastructure to limit flooding and erosion impacts and require engineering evaluations and design for infrastructure improvements. This action will authorize professional services contracts with Consor North America, Inc. dba Consor Engineers, HDR Engineering, Inc. dba HDR, Inc., and IEA, Inc. to provide engineering services for flood management, erosion control and storm drainage improvements at 13 locations.
