BACKGROUND

The City of Dallas has identified areas across the city requiring flood management, erosion control and storm drainage improvements to address flooding, channel erosion and strengthen infrastructure due to structural deterioration. These areas were identified to have inadequate infrastructure to limit flooding and erosion impacts and require engineering evaluations and design for infrastructure improvements. This action will authorize professional services contracts with Consor North America, Inc. dba Consor Engineers, HDR Engineering, Inc. dba HDR, Inc., and IEA, Inc. to provide engineering services for flood management, erosion control and storm drainage improvements at 13 locations.
