BACKGROUND
On July 2, 2026, bid specifications were developed and publicly advertised for competitive bids associated with the 2024 Bond Traffic Signal Construction - Group 6 project - Masters Drive at Checota Drive, Pear Ridge Drive at Haverwood Drive, Jefferson Boulevard at Van Buren Avenue, and Buckner Boulevard at Gross Road (CIZ26-TPW-4003). Bids were received and opened on July 24, 2026.

This action will authorize a construction services contract with EAR Telecommunications, LLC dba EARTC, to construct four new traffic signals at the intersections of Masters Drive at Checota Drive, Pear Ridge Drive at Haverwood Drive, Jefferson Boulevard at Van Buren Avenue, and Buckner Boulevard at Gross Road, in an amount not to exceed $1,522,225.10.
