BACKGROUND
This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a services agreement is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis according to annual budgetary appropriations. The estimated amount is intended as guidance rather than a cap on spending under the agreement, so that actual need combined with the amount budgeted will determine the amount spent under this agreement.
This sole source services agreement will provide access to an open-source intelligence solution and data analysis platform, Skopenow, Inc. to assist with public safety threats, domestic violent extremism, and gang violence investigations. The integration of Skopenow, Inc.'s platform represents a groundbreaking merging of technology in the field of open-source intelligence and data analysis. The unique combination offers a comprehensive solution that addresses the multifaceted needs of modern investigative practices.
