BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Becka Anton filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas, seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in a motor vehicle accident on February 27, 2024, involving a Dallas Fire-Rescue employee operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Plaintiff have reached a proposed settlement of her claims, subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by Diana Crawford and Thompson Law LLP.

A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on June 18, 2026.
