Title
Authorize (1) the rejection of all bids received for solicitation CIZ25-AVI-3146 for construction services for the Garages A & B Repairs Project at Dallas Love Field; and (2) the re-advertisement for new bids only for the Garage B Repairs Project at Dallas Love Field - Financing: No cost consideration to the City

BACKGROUND
This action will authorize the rejection of all bids received for solicitation CIZ25-AVI-3146 for construction services for the Garages A & B Repairs Project at Dallas Love Field and re-advertisement for new bids only for the Garage B Repairs Project at Dallas Love Field.
The intent of the initial project was to repair water infiltration, remove and replace expansion joints, repairs concrete cracks, install new traffic coats, and thermal and moisture protection to maintain and enhance the functionality, durability, safety, and visual appeal on the top levels of Garages A & B at Dallas Love Field.
The solicitation was open to the public from April 4, 2025 through May 23, 2025. The four bids were received and were opened on May 23, 2025.
After further evaluation, the Department of Aviation has determined that it will not move forward with repairs to Garage A. It is therefore in the best interest of the City to reject all bids received for solicitation CIZ25-AVI-3146, and to readvertise only for Garage B Repairs.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On June 25, 2014, the City Council authorized a professional services contract with M. Arthur Gensler, Jr. & Associates, Inc. dba Gensler to perform a condition assessment of Dallas Love Field Garages A & B, located at 8025 Cedar Springs Road by Resolution No. 14-1012.
