Title
Authorize (1) an Interlocal Agreement with the North Central Texas Council of Governments designating the City of Dallas as a subrecipient for reimbursable activities through the 2026 FIFA World Cup Grant Program; (2) establishment of appropriations in an amount not to exceed $24,581,327.21 in the NCTCOG FIFA World Cup Grant Program Fund; and (3) the receipt and deposit of funds in an amount not to exceed $24,581,327.21 in the NCTCOG FIFA World Cup Grant Program Fund - Not to exceed $24,581,327.21 - Financing: NCTCOG FIFA World Cup Grant Program Fund

BACKGROUND
This action will authorize the City of Dallas to submit eligible costs incurred while hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup activities for reimbursement through the 2026 FIFA World Cup Grant Program, administered by the North Central Texas Council of Governments. The purpose of the FIFA World Cup Grant Program is to provide targeted funding to enhance security and preparedness for the 2026 FIFA World Cup events hosted in the United States. Reimbursable activities to include personnel, equipment, and vehicle usage expenses directed to 2026 FIFA World Cup operations.
