BACKGROUND

This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a service contract is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis.

This Supplemental Agreement will provide for continued FirstNet services to provide public safety wireless devices and mobile services for the Department of Information and Technology Services. This supplemental agreement will continue to provide mobile data connectivity, hardware, and software for Public Safety and all infrastructure departments. These components allow the City's public safety departments and first responders to utilize their mobility devices and applications during day-to-day activities and catastrophic emergencies across the metroplex without fighting the utilization of resources with the public.
