A public hearing to receive comments on the proposed revisions to the Street Design and Drainage Design Manuals and the new Street Process Manual; and at the close of the hearing, authorize (1) a resolution approving and adopting revisions to the Street Design and Drainage Design Manuals and the new Street Process Manual; (2) an ordinance amending Chapter 43, "Streets and Sidewalks" of the Dallas City Code by amending Sections 43-46, 43-67, 43-68, 43-71, 43-78, 43-94, 43-95, and 43-135; providing new paving standards; providing new concrete standards; and renaming the paving design manual; and (3) an ordinance amending Chapter 51A, "Dallas Development Code: Ordinance No. 19455, as amended," of the Dallas City Code by amending Sections 51A-4.803, 51A-5.101, 51A-5.104, 51A-5.105, 51A-5.206, 51A-8.506, 51A-8.507, 51A-8.601, 51A-8.602, 51A-8.604, 51A-8.606, 51A-8.611, 51A-8.702, 51A-10.101, and 51A-12.204; clarifying definitions; providing a definition of one-percent annual chance floodplain; and renaming the paving design manual - Financing: No cost consideration to the City

BACKGROUND
The Street Design Manual, which has been renamed from the Paving Design Manual, provides guidelines for designing streets and thoroughfares and preparing construction plans in the city of Dallas. The Drainage Design Manual provides standard principles and guidelines for designing drainage facilities and preparing construction plans for those facilities in the city of Dallas.
