BACKGROUND
Resolution No. 89-3796 requires the City Council to adopt an annual calendar. Resolution No. 90-2673 establishes the annual July recess. Resolution No. 18-0849 requires the second Wednesday meeting each month to begin at 2:00 p.m., and for up to five meetings each year to be conducted off-site from City Hall. The City Calendar includes all City Council briefing and agenda meetings, budget briefings and workshops, City Council Committee meetings, and City holidays. The City Calendar is available on the City's website at www.dallascityhall.com and is made available to all residents, upon request, in the Mayor and City Council Office. The City Calendar is also available for download and synching into calendar software on computers or mobile devices via a link on the City's website.
The 2019 City Calendar is being amended to (1) revise the start time of the City Council agenda meeting on October 8, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.; and (2) change the location for the November 13, 2019 off-site City Council agenda meeting from Campbell Green Recreation Center to Dallas City Hall Council Chambers.
