BACKGROUND
Resolution No. 89-3796 requires the City Council to adopt an annual calendar. Resolution No. 90-2673 establishes the annual July recess. Resolution No. 19-1606 requires the second Wednesday meeting each month to begin at 3:00 p.m. The City Calendar includes all City Council briefing and agenda meetings, budget briefings and workshops, City Council Committee meetings, and City holidays. The City Calendar is available on the City's website at www.dallascityhall.com and is made available to all residents, upon request, in the Mayor and City Council Office. The City Calendar is also available for download and synching into calendar software on computers or mobile devices via a link on the City's website.
The 2019 City Calendar is being amended to (1) revise the start time of the City Council agenda meetings on November 13, 2019 and December 11, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; and (2) include the addition of new committee names and times.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On October 24, 2018, City Council authorized the adoption of the 2019 City Calendar by Resolution No. 18-1504.
