BACKGROUND
This action will authorize a professional services contract with Urban Engineers Group, Inc. for schematic design, design development, construction documents, procurement and construction observation phases for renovations at Kidd Springs Park Japanese Garden located at 700 West Canty Street. The 2017 Bond Program included funding for this project, which includes renovation of existing Japanese Garden water features, and creating an accessible pedestrian route from the West Fifth Street playground to the recreation center. In addition, the design will include the restoration of the existing stone block walls, creating themed entry portals and a pedestrian bridge into the garden.
