BACKGROUND
Pursuant to City Council Rules of Procedure Section 6.1(c)(1), Councilmember Kleinman submitted a five-signature memorandum requesting that the mayor refer the following item to a City Council committee.
This provides the Government Performance and Financial Management Committee’s recommendation and request for placement of the item on a City Council voting agenda not later than the second regular meeting after receipt of this written recommendation.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
The Government Performance and Financial Management Committee was briefed regarding this item on February 24, 2020 and, in accordance with the City Council Rules of Procedure Section 6.2(f)(2), recommended to the City Council that the item be approved (4 to 3 vote).
