BACKGROUND
This action will authorize a construction services contract with A & B Construction, LLC for the repair of two bridges along Second Avenue over White Rock Creek.
The construction will consist of the repair of defective bridge railings, the concrete encasing of steel pile substructures, the repair of spalling bridge decks, spot removal of lead paint and painting of steel bridge members to prevent corrosion.
Following are the locations of the two bridges:
Second Avenue SB Bridge #8 (3-span) - NBI No. 18-057-9S23-40-008
Second Avenue SB Bridge #10 (7-span) - NBI No. 18-057-9S23-40-010
A & B Construction, LLC has had no contractual activities with the City of Dallas within the past three years.
ESTIMATED SCHEDULE OF PROJECT
Begin Construction May 2020
Complete Construction August 2020
