body

BACKGROUND

This item authorizes the acquisition of a permanent easement from CI DAL I-V, LLC, of approximately 1,389 square feet of land located in Dallas County for the Elm Fork Water Transmission Main Project. Council previously approved for purchase acquisition of a Fee Simple interest on September 13, 2000; however, this action authorizes the acquisition of said parcel in easement interest.  This property will be used for the installation and maintenance of a water transmission main from Harry Hines Boulevard north of IH 635, along Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in the City of Farmers Branch to the Elm Fork Water Treatment Plant in the City of Carrollton. The consideration is based on an independent appraisal. There are no relocation benefits associated.
