Body
BACKGROUND

This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a service price agreement is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis according to annual budgetary appropriations. The estimated amount is intended as guidance rather than a cap on spending under the agreement, so that actual need combined with the amount budgeted will determine the amount spent under this agreement.

This service price agreement provides City residents access to twenty-four-hour on demand lactation support through the Office of Community Care. The supplier will provide immediate telephone lactation support without the need of a smartphone or having to schedule an appointment. The supplier will provide support services after hours Monday thru Friday and twenty-four-hours on the weekends. Additionally, services will be provided in English, Spanish, and other languages through a nationwide network of International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants.
