BACKGROUND
Recent court rulings determined that the subject of an administrative subpoena must be allowed the opportunity for a pre-compliance review of the subpoena before a neutral decision maker. This ordinance establishes a process to allow pre-compliance review of subpoenas issued by the city council, city manager, and other city officials.
