Authorize a three-year service price agreement for an annual subscription service to the MicroMain computerized maintenance management software system for the Park and Recreation Department - MicroMain Corporation, only bidder - Not to exceed $45,588.73 - Financing: General Fund (subject to annual appropriations)

Body
BACKGROUND

The purpose of a service price agreement is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis. This action does not encumber funds.

MicroMain is the current computerized maintenance management software system of record for the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department's Park Maintenance and Operations Division and Facility Services Division. It will be primarily used to assess preventive and predictive equipment maintenance. This will allow for data driven equipment maintenance decisions. It will also be used to monitor and track fixed assets, in addition to parts and inventory management.

The scope of work for this service price agreement shall include an annual subscription service for software updates, phone support, problem solving including patches, fixes, etc., additional software licenses and staff training.

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
