BACKGROUND

 

The Park Lane Project covers the reconstruction of a segment of the roadway to accommodate bicycle lane, and sidewalks from Greenville Avenue to Hemlock Avenue in the Vickery Meadows area. The project’s scope includes Intersection improvements at Shady Brook Lane and at the five-point intersections of Ridgecrest Road and Fair Oaks Avenue.  This project will support the multi-modal accessibility to the existing and planned schools in the area as well as to the new Vickery Meadows Library. This project was approved by the North Central Texas Council of Government’s Regional Transportation Council action on December 13, 2018.

 

This action will authorize a Local Transportation Project Advance Funding Agreement for the engineering and construction of the project utilizing Transportation Development Credits associated with this project.
