BACKGROUND
This item grants renewal of a revocable license to Spice in the City, LLC, for the use of approximately 12 square feet of aerial space to occupy, maintain and utilize an aerial sign over a portion of Commerce Street right-of-way, located near its intersection with Lane Street. This renews rights previously granted by Ordinance No. 30364. The use of this area will not impede pedestrian or vehicular traffic. The term of this license is for three years.
The licensee will indemnify the City and carry general liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On February 22, 2017, City Council authorized a revocable license to Spice in the City, LLC, for the use of approximately 12 square feet of land to maintain an existing aerial sign, over and above a portion of Commerce Street right-of-way, located near its intersection of Commerce and Lane Streets by Resolution No. 17-0405; Ordinance No. 30364.
