Authorize (1) Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to increase the architectural services contract with Harrison Kornberg Architects for additional design services and construction administration for the Meyerson Symphony Center located at 2301 Flora Street; (2) the receipt and deposit of additional funds in an amount not to exceed $40,370.00 from the Dallas Symphony Association, Inc. for additional architectural, and engineering design, and construction administration services for the Meyerson Symphony Center and (3) an increase in appropriations in an amount of $40,370.00 in the Gifts and Donations Fund - Not to exceed $40,370.00, from $695,222.00 to $735,592.00 - Financing: Gifts and Donations Fund ($40,370.00) and Estimated Revenue: Gifts and Donations Fund ($40,370.00)

BACKGROUND
This action will authorize the receipt and deposit of a private donation from the Dallas Symphony Association, Inc. to increase the architectural services contract with Harrison-Kornberg Architects, LLC, for additional design services for roofing renovations at the Meyerson Symphony Center, a project approved by the citizens of Dallas in the 2017 Bond Program. Dallas Symphony Association, Inc. is contributing $40,370.00 towards the architectural, and engineering design, and construction administration services.
This action will also authorize Supplemental No. 1 to increase the architectural services contract with Harrison-Kornberg Architects, LLC for additional design services and construction administration at Meyerson Symphony Center located at 2301 Flora Street.
Deferral of this item would delay design solution for additional roofing repairs located in the facility.

On February 13, 2019, City Council authorized an Architectural services contract with Harrison Kornberg Architects, LLC for architectural and engineering design and construction administration services for the Meyerson Symphony Center Improvements, located at 2301 Flora Street by Resolution 19-0249.
