Authorize Chief of Equity and Inclusion M. Elizabeth Cedillo-Pereira to replace former Councilmember Scott Griggs as the City’s representative to the Texas Clean Air Cities Coalition (TCACC) and the TCACC Steering Committee - Financing: No cost consideration to the City

BACKGROUND
On September 13, 2006, City Council authorized Resolution No. 06-2484 accepting membership in the TCACC, authorizing the City Manager to execute a Participation Agreement and By-Laws with the TCACC, and appointing then-Mayor Laura Miller to serve as the City's representative to the TCACC and the TCACC Steering Committee.
On January 9, 2008, City Council authorized Resolution No. 08-0156 appointing then-Councilmember Linda Koop to replace Laura Miller as the City's representative to the TCACC and the TCACC Steering Committee.
On June 25, 2014, City Council authorized Resolution No. 14-0989 appointing then-Councilmember Scott Griggs to replace Linda Koop as the City’s representative to the TCACC and the TCACC Steering Committee.
The purpose for which the TCACC was formed has been accomplished and it is appropriate for the City Controller’s Office to proceed with dissolving the entity (TCACC).
At this time, it has been deemed appropriate for Chief of Equity and Inclusion M. Elizabeth Cedillo-Pereira to be named to replace Scott Griggs as the City's representative to the TCACC and the TCACC Steering Committee.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On September 13, 2006, City Council accepted membership in the TCACC; authorized the City Manager to execute a Participation Agreement and By-Laws with the TCACC and appointed Mayor Laura Miller to serve as the City of Dallas' representative to the TCACC and TCACC Steering Committee by Resolution No. 06-2484.
On January 9, 2008, City Council authorized the appointment of Councilmember Linda Koop to replace Laura Miller as the City of Dallas’ representative to the TCACC and the TCACC Steering Committee by Resolution No. 08-0156.
On June 25, 2014, City Council authorized the appointment of Councilmember Scott Griggs to replace Linda Koop as the City of Dallas’ representative to the TCACC and the TCACC Steering Committee by Resolution No. 14-1050.
