BACKGROUND

 

This item authorizes an increase in the purchase price for the acquisition from Jose Luis DeLeon and Maria DeLeon, of approximately 5,830 square feet of land located near the intersection of Alex and Childers Streets in Dallas County, Texas for the Cadillac Heights Phase II Project.  This property will be used for future location of City service and maintenance facilities.  There are no relocation benefits associated. The consideration is based on an independent appraisal.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

On June 15, 2016, City Council authorized acquisition from Jose Luis DeLeon, of approximately 5,830 square feet of land located in Dallas County for the Cadillac Heights Phase II Project by Resolution No. 16-0989.
