BACKGROUND
On October 2, 2020, four bids were received for the construction of the Brownwood Park Erosion Control and Soccer Field Improvements Project. This item authorizes the award of this construction contract to Quick Set Concrete, Inc., lowest responsible bidder of four, in an amount not to exceed $275,089.35.
The scope of work for the Brownwood Park Erosion Control and Soccer Field Improvements Project includes erosion control measurements and improvements including slope stabilization, gabion walls and gabion mattresses within Joes Creek, regrading, block sodding, fencing installation and miscellaneous improvements. Funding for this project was included in the 2017 Bond Program.
