BACKGROUND

 

This item authorizes the conveyance of a water easement, access easement and two temporary construction easements containing a total of approximately 20 acres of land to North Texas Municipal Water District (“District”) for the construction, maintenance and use of pipeline facilities over and across City-owned land located at Lake Ray Hubbard. The easements are needed for a new 48-inch water line that will convey water from the District’s Wylie Water Treatment Plant to serve growing demand in the east portion of the District’s water system. The consideration is based on an independent appraisal.
