Body
BACKGROUND

This action will authorize a construction services contract with C Green Scaping, LP for the construction of site and security improvements at the recently upgraded Walcrest and Walnut Hill Pump Stations. The site and security improvements under this contract will consist of a new fence and gates, retaining walls, sidewalks and wheelchair ramps, irrigation systems, trees, shrubs, and grass in accordance with the approved landscaping and development plans for each site. In addition, the contract includes ground maintenance services for three years.

Walcrest Pump Station is located at the corner of Walnut Hill Lane and Hillcrest Road and consists of a new 85 million gallon per day (MGD) pump station with two 10-million-gallon storage reservoirs. Walnut Hill Pump Station is located at Walnut Hill Lane just east of Marsh Lane and consists of a new pump station that replaces two separate stations with a combined 50 MGD capacity. These pump stations were originally built in 1956 and 1949, respectfully, and had reached the end of their useful life.
