BACKGROUND
The original contract award included schematic design of the Crawford Memorial Park Master Plan, Phase 1 Implementation, construction of a dam on Prairie Creek and creation of a lake, removal and relocation of an existing pedestrian bridge, re-establishment and expansion of a loop trail across the dam, boat ramps, environmental evaluation, hydraulic and hydrologic evaluations, water rights and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality permit applications.
This action will authorize Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the professional services contract with Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers, Inc. for an increase to the design and engineering services for the Crawford Memorial Park Phase 1 Improvements Project, in an amount not to exceed $470,550.00, increasing the contract amount from $655,667.00 to $1,126,217.00.
Supplemental Agreement No. 1 advances Phase 1 from schematic design to construction and bidding documents for elements including relocating trails and a pedestrian bridge impacted by the future dam and lake; safety lighting options; parking lot renovations; peninsula improvements including artistic elements; incorporation of artistic elements into shade structures, picnic areas, and observation areas.
