BACKGROUND
On October 23, 2020, seven bids were received for the construction of the Westmount Park Site Development Project. This item authorizes the award of this construction services contract to A S Con, Inc., lowest responsible bidder of seven for the Base Bid and Alternate No. 1 in the amount of $153,400.00.
The scope of work for the Westmount Park Site Development Project includes construction of playground improvements including fencing, grading, and establishment of ground cover.

On September 17, 2020, the Park and Recreation Board, Planning and Design Committee was briefed on construction procurement.
On January 28, 2021, the Park and Recreation Board authorized a construction contract with A S Con Inc. for the construction of the Westmount Park Site Development Project located at 1300 Westmount Avenue.
