BACKGROUND
This item authorizes the amendment of Ordinance No. 31400, previously approved on December 11, 2019, which abandoned portions of Fiji, Tonga and Sphinx Streets and two alleys, located near the intersection of Fran Way and Compton Streets to Fiji Property Owners Association, Inc. (“FPOA”). This amendment will allow for the extension of the final replat from one year to three years.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On December 11, 2019, City Council authorized Ordinance No. 31400, which abandoned portions of Fiji, Tonga and Sphinx Streets and two alleys to Fiji Property Owners Association, Inc., containing a total of approximately 84,362 square feet of land, located near the intersection of Fran Way and Compton Streets; and providing for the conversion of the abandoned areas to private drives and alleys.
