BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Lorris Hinson filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on May 10, 2018, involving a Dallas Police Department vehicle. The City and Ms. Hinson have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by Thompson Law, LLP.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
City Council will be briefed by confidential memorandum regarding this matter on February 19, 2021.
