BACKGROUND

 

On December 9, 2020, the City of Dallas advertised the Request for Qualifications for Architectural and Engineering Services for the subject project. In response to this advertisement, the Office of Procurement Services Department received submittals from the following firms on January 8, 2021:

 

1.                     DSGN Associates, Inc

2.                     HKS, Inc

3.                     Good Fulton & Farrell (dba GFF, Inc.)

 

On January 13, 2021, the Selection Committee evaluated the 3 firms and determined that all of them had the appropriate qualifications and experience for this project. On March 3, 2021, the Planning and Design Division of Park and Recreation sent a Request for Proposal for Consulting Services to the three firms. In response to this request the Planning and Design Division received submittals from all three firms on March 19, 2021. On March 25, 2021, the selection committee reviewed and scored their proposals. Based on the results of the evaluation, DSGN Associates, Inc. was selected as the most qualified proposer.

 

This professional services contract will assess the condition of the existing grandstand, dugouts, field, parking lot and drainage system and prioritize the following needs: repairs to structural steel at the grandstand and fencing; repairs/replacement to/of the field and bleachers; and other associated amenities at the Reverchon Park ball field.
