Authorize a construction services contract for the installation of erosion control improvements at 11 locations (list attached to Agenda Information Sheet) - TREG Erosion Control Specialists, LLC, lowest responsible bidder of three - Not to exceed $4,694,826.00 - Financing: Storm Drainage Management Capital Construction Fund ($2,489,011.00), Flood Control (D) Fund (2017 General Obligation Bond Funds) ($1,303,765.00), and Flood Protection and Storm Drainage Facilities Fund (2012 General Obligation Bond Funds) ($902,050.00)

BACKGROUND
Stream banks located along various properties are experiencing severe erosion and need to be stabilized to protect existing structures and critical infrastructure. Engineering solutions have been completed for 11 locations experiencing severe erosion. This action will authorize a construction contract to implement solutions to address critical erosion at these locations.
The project improvements consist of the installation of gabion walls and gabion mattresses at the following 11 locations: 6806, 6814, 6906 and 7014 Richwood Drive, Shady Hollow Court and 3300 Block of Boulder Drive, 8208 Coolgreene Drive, 8223 Hunnicut Road, 3837 Simpson Stuart Road near Paul Quinn College, 2214 Lakeland Drive, 8725 Vinewood Drive, 11601 and 11655 Audelia Road, 9727 Whitehurst Drive, 18731 Rembrandt Terrace, and 10245 Timber Trail Drive. Construction of the proposed gabion walls and mattresses will address critical erosion at these locations, protecting residential structures and other infrastructure.
TREG Erosion Control Specialists, LLC has had no contractual activities with the City of Dallas within the past three years.
