BACKGROUND
This action will authorize the design of traffic signals at five intersections. Specifically, this action authorizes a design services contract with Lee Engineering, LLC, for traffic signal design services of five intersections and other related tasks funded through the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Reimbursement Program ($340,786.00).
The following signals in the FHWA Reimbursement Program will be designed with this contract:

In August 2020, the City of Dallas released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for engineering services for traffic engineering and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) services.
A three-member committee from the following departments reviewed and evaluated the proposals:

The successful proposer was selected by the committee on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications under the following criteria:
