BACKGROUND

North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) executed an Agreement on August 29, 2019, for two million, seven hundred thirty-seven thousand, nine hundred ninety-nine dollars ($2,737,999.00) to support Traffic Incident Management activities. The Regional Transportation Council (RTC) approved the criteria for the competitive selection of participants in the Incident Management Equipment Purchase Call for Projects.

In February 2020, City of Dallas responded to NCTCOG's call to participate in a competitive selection for Incident Management Equipment Purchase for the purchase.
