BACKGROUND

 

This item authorizes the acquisition from CCR Equity Holdings One, LLC, of approximately 4.3 acres of land located near the intersection of South Central Expressway and Choate Road for the Former Blue Star Recycling Site Project. The future use of this site is undetermined. No relocation costs are associated.

 

This acquisition is part of an Agreed Final Judgement in the suit styled City of Dallas, and State of Texas v. Blue Star Recycling LLC; Almira Industrial and Trading Corp.; CCR Equity Holdings One, LLC, in District Court, Dallas County, Texas, 191st Judicial District, Cause No. DC-18-18651. The judgment provides the City of Dallas the right to acquire the Real Property owned by CCR Equity Holdings One, LLC at no cost. CCR Equity Holdings One, LLC will pay all closing costs and title expenses.
