BACKGROUND
This action will authorize a construction services contract with CCGMG LLC Series B for the construction of five alley reconstruction projects as Alley Reconstruction Project Group 17-9001 - Package B.
The project scope will include replacing the existing deteriorating concrete alleys with new reinforced concrete alley pavement, storm drainage improvements, and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the design plans and specifications.
CCGMG LLC Series B is a Dallas-based corporation, operating within the corporate city limits of Dallas, Texas.
Following are the locations and construction costs for each project:

CCGMG LLC Series B has had no contractual activities with the City of Dallas within the past three years.
If this project is not awarded for construction at this time, the alleys will continue to deteriorate causing additional pavement cracking and potholes to form, creating additional maintenance costs for the City and potential damages to vehicles utilizing the alleys. Field conditions may also change, which will require modifications to the engineering design plans, requiring additional funding and time to address.
