BACKGROUND
This item grants renewal of a revocable license to Big Outdoor Texas, LLC, for the use of approximately 360 square feet of aerial space to occupy, maintain and utilize the existing 12 lights that illuminate a supergraphic façade over a portion of Pacific Avenue right-of-way located near its intersection with Griffin Street. This renews the rights previously granted by Ordinance No. 28987. The use of this area will not impede pedestrian or vehicular traffic. The term of this license is for 9 years.
The licensee will indemnify the City and carry general liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On May 22, 2013, City Council authorized a revocable license to Radiant Outdoor, LLC to install and maintain 12 lights that illuminate a supergraphic façade above a portion of Pacific Avenue right-of-way by Resolution No. 13-0847; Ordinance No. 28987. The term of this license was 8 years.
FISCAL INFORMATION
Revenue: General Fund $2,653.00 annually, plus the $20.00 ordinance publication fee
