Authorize a construction services contract for construction of five shade structures and bleacher seating at Campbell Green Park located at 16600 Hillcrest Road with Kraftsman, L.P. dba Kraftsman Commercial Playgrounds & Waterparks through the Texas Association of School Boards - Not to exceed $100,055.75 - Financing: Park and Recreation Facilities (B) Fund (2017 General Obligation Bond Fund).

BACKGROUND
On March 14, 2021, a proposal was received for five shade structures and bleacher seating to be located at Campbell Green Park. Kraftsman, L.P. dba Kraftsman Commercial Playgrounds & Waterparks, a Texas Association of School Boards (BuyBoard) vendor, provided a bid proposal in the amount of $100,055.75.
This action authorizes a construction services contract with Kraftsman, L.P. dba Kraftsman Commercial Playgrounds & Waterparks, to construct five shade structures and bleacher seating at Campbell Green Park in an amount not to exceed $100,055.75.
The scope of work for includes:
• Concrete foundations and pads for five fabric shade structures
• Five fabric shade structures (three at the existing sprayground, one at the existing playground and one between two soccer fields)
• Bleachers to seat 70 between two soccer fields
• Replacement fabric on existing shade structure at the sprayground
The Texas Association of School Boards is authorized by Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code and Subchapter F, Chapter 271, Texas Local Government Code Section 271.102 of the Texas Local Government Code authorizes a local government to participate in a Cooperative Purchasing Program with another local government or a local cooperative organization.

On June 3, 2021, the Park and Recreation Board authorized a construction services contract with Kraftsman, L.P. dba Kraftsman Commercial Playgrounds & Waterparks through the Texas Association of School Boards for construction of five shade structures and bleacher seating at Campbell Green Park located at 16600 Hillcrest Road.
