BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Norris Smith filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on December 6, 2017, involving a Dallas Sanitation Department vehicle. The City and Mr. Smith have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by Victor Rodriguez of the Witherite Law Group.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
City Council will be briefed by confidential memorandum regarding this matter on June 18, 2021.
