BACKGROUND
On February 24, 2021, the City Manager received a memorandum signed by three Council members to consider an application for a Street Name change of Village Fair Place, between Village Fair Drive and Ledbetter Drive, to "Pastor Pryor Drive".
On March 18, 2021, notification signs were put up on Village Fair Place, between Village Fair Drive and Ledbetter Drive in accordance with Section 51A-9.503(b) of the Dallas Development Code to change the street name to "Pastor Pryor Drive".
The newspaper notice for Subdivision Review Committee hearing was published on March 22, 2021. On April 8, 2021, the Subdivision Review Committee by unanimous vote recommended approval of the Street Name Change.
The newspaper notice for City Plan Commission hearing was published on April 17, 2021. On May 20, 2021, the City Plan Commission by unanimous vote recommended approval of the Street Name Change.
If the request is approved, this change will require an amendment to the Thoroughfare Plan.
