Authorize a construction services contract for the construction of Alley Reconstruction Group 17-7001 (list attached to the Agenda Information Sheet) - West Texas Rebar Placers, Inc. dba Texas Rebar Placers, Inc., lowest responsible bidder of ten - Not to exceed $1,806,550.00 - Financing: Street and Transportation (A) Fund (2017 General Obligation Bond Fund) ($1,704,960.00), Wastewater Capital Construction Fund ($4,650.00), and Wastewater Capital Improvement E Fund ($96,940.00)

BACKGROUND
This action will authorize a construction services contract with West Texas Rebar Placers, Inc. dba Texas Rebar Placers, Inc., for the construction of six alley reconstruction projects as Alley Reconstruction Group 17-7001.
The project scope will include replacing the existing deteriorating alley pavement with new reinforced concrete pavement, storm drainage improvements and wastewater main replacement.
West Texas Rebar Placers, Inc. dba Texas Rebar Placers, Inc., is a Dallas-based corporation, operating within the corporate city limits of Dallas, Texas.
