BACKGROUND

 

During FY 2020-21, the City Manager’s Office reviewed the name of the Department of Sustainable Development and Construction and determined the name did not accurately reflect the primary functions of the department.

 

Additionally, the Real Estate and Zoning functions of Department of Sustainable Development and Construction were moved to the Department of Public Works and the Department of Planning and Urban Design to streamline operations.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

City Council was briefed on the City Manager’s Proposed Budget on August 10, 2021.
