Authorize approval of the 2022 City Calendar - Financing: No cost consideration to the City

BACKGROUND

 

Resolution No. 89-3796 requires the City Council to adopt an annual calendar. Resolution No. 90-2673 establishes the annual July recess. Resolution No. 19-1606 requires the second Wednesday meeting each month to begin at 3:00 p.m.

 

On March 25, 2020, the City Council voted to begin all regular City Council meetings at 9:00 a.m. during the state of disaster issued by Mayor Johnson.

 

The City Calendar includes all City Council briefing and agenda meetings, budget briefings and workshops, Council Committee meetings, and City holidays. The City Calendar is available on the City’s website at www.dallascityhall.com and is made available in the Mayor and City Council Office to all residents who request copies. The City Calendar is also available for download and synching into calendar software on computers or mobile devices via a link on the City’s website.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

On October 28, 2020, City Council authorized the adoption of the 2021 City Calendar by Resolution No. 20-1728.
