BACKGROUND

On March 25, 2020, pursuant to City Council Rules of Procedure Section 6.1(c)(1), Councilmember Kleinman submitted a five-signature memorandum requesting that the mayor refer the following item to a City Council committee.

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

This item was originally heard on March 25, 2020. The city council resolved that all city council meeting times be standardized during the declared state of local disaster.

On September 27, 2021, the subject of standardized meeting times for City Council was considered at the Government Performance and Financial Management Committee in conjunction with adoption of the city calendar. The GPFM Committee recommended to the City Council that the city calendar be approved and that the City Council Rules of Procedure be reconsidered to standardize the City Council meeting times.

FISCAL INFORMATION

No cost consideration to the City.
