Authorize (1) a construction services contract for the installation of erosion control improvements at 18 locations (list attached to the Agenda Information Sheet) - Ark Contracting Services, LLC, lowest responsible bidder of four; and (2) an increase in appropriations not to exceed $3,370,896.00 in the Storm Drainage Management Capital Construction Fund - Not to exceed $6,883,991.55 - Financing: Flood Control (D) Fund (2017 General Obligation Bond Funds) ($3,252,206.55), Storm Drainage Management Capital Construction Fund ($3,370,896.00), and Flood Protection and Storm Drainage Facilities Fund (2012 General Obligation Bond Funds) ($260,889.00)

BACKGROUND
Stream banks located along various properties are experiencing severe erosion and need to be stabilized to protect existing structures and critical infrastructure. Engineering solutions have been completed for eighteen locations experiencing severe erosion. This action will authorize a construction contract to implement engineering solutions to address critical erosion at these locations.
The project improvements consist of the installation of gabion walls, gabion mattresses, and other erosion control measures at the following 18 locations: 2420/2460/2522 El Cerrito Drive, 10500 Block of Clearbrook Lane, 3604 Hillside Drive, 1407 Oates Drive, 8470-8606 Brittania Way, 6523 & 6527 Clubhouse Circle, 13316 Spring Grove Avenue, 6201 Baymar Lane, 5719 Brushy Creek Trail, 7106/7110/7114 Claren Court, Country Brook Pond Dam, Country Brook Pond Banks, 15821 & 15827 Nedra Way, Osage Branch at Willow Greene Condos (17490 Meandering Way), 17309 & 17315 Stedman Circle, 17418 River Hill Drive, 17628 Squaw Valley, and the 3...
