BACKGROUND
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) filed a claim against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged property damage and other damages sustained on October 30, 2019, when a Public Works vehicle struck overhead wires that deliver power to the DART rail line at 12400 T I Boulevard, Dallas, Texas 75243. The City and DART have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval.

A confidential memorandum regarding this matter was provided to the City Council on November 5, 2021.
