Since 1979, the City of Dallas has been entitled to appoint one representative to the Dallas Central Appraisal District Board of Directors.  No later than December 14, 2021, the City of Dallas needs to make an appointment to the Board of Directors for the 2022-2023 term to begin January 1, 2022 and end December 31, 2023.

The appointment must be sent to the Chief Appraiser of the Dallas Central Appraisal District in the form of a City Council resolution.  If no appointment is made by December 14, 2021, the current member remains in holdover status.
