BACKGROUND
On November 9, 2021, the Council Government Performance and Financial Management Committee was briefed by the Office of the Attorney General and Larry Taylor, Esq. on the proposed settlements with opioid manufacturer, Johnson & Johnson, and the three major pharmaceutical distributors: AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal Health, and McKesson.

A confidential memorandum regarding this matter was provided to the City Council on December 3, 2021.
FISCAL INFORMATION
No cost consideration to the City. Depending upon the outcome of the settlement, the City may receive revenue.
