BACKGROUND
The intersection of Pearl and Flora Streets (Project) was identified as a priority project by Dallas Arts District Foundation (DADF) as early as 2010 and is included in the Downtown Dallas, Inc. 360 Plan. The Project was approved as part of the 2017 General Obligation Bond Program as part of street improvements intended for City Council District 14. This contract will allow for the development of the plans and specifications in accordance with City and State standards to be provided for the City to award construction.
DADF has agreed to conduct all necessary engineering and design services associated with the Project at its sole cost and expense and donate any and all Project design plans and documents for the City to facilitate the construction of the Project and meet DADF’s goals.
ESTIMATED PROJECT SCHEDULE
Begin Design March 2022
Complete Design January 2023

FISCAL INFORMATION
This action has no cost consideration to the City. Future cost to the City is $1,000,000.00, for construction and administrative support, to be funded by 2017 General Obligation Bond Funds on a future City Council Agenda.
