BACKGROUND
As required under Tax Code 34.05(i) and 34.05(j), this item will consent to the sale of a tax foreclosed property located at 5200 University Hills Boulevard formerly known as 5200 Houston School Road by Dallas County. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 34.05(c) of the Tax Property Code, the property was offered for sale by the Sheriff of Dallas County at public auction. No bids were received and the property was subsequently struck off to the Dallas County in September 2021, pursuant to a tax judgment (Cause No. 19-01563) for the non-payment of delinquent taxes. The County of Dallas holds the property in trust for each taxing entity and is seeking the consent for the sale of the property.
The property will return to the tax rolls upon sale and conveyance.
