BACKGROUND
Plaintiffs Jose Gomez and Sonia Lopez filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on May 3, 2020, involving a Dallas Police Department vehicle. The City and Plaintiffs Jose Gomez and Sonia Lopez have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval. Plaintiffs are represented by Witherite Law Group.
